HELP & ABOUT

Organizations and membership

Organizations represent companies, universities or communities. Individuals keep their own accounts and join by invitation.

Join and switch

Review the membership invitation in Notifications or organization memberships. Check organization identity, role/category, position and message before accepting. Use Organization memberships in your workspace to open the organization; return with Personal workspace. Never share your personal password with an organization.

Ownership matters

Read the personal/organization ownership choice when creating a thread. Organization-owned threads retain the organization’s ownership and visibility authority. A personal thread’s authorized owner can change affiliation without silently transferring ownership.

Members and faculty

Authorized admins search usernames and invite people as students, employees, interns or members. Faculty retain ordinary personal accounts with assigned organization/cohort roles. Membership does not automatically expose every private thread; project access is still required.

Dashboard, Threads and Ask GRID

Organization profile sits above Dashboard; Ask GRID sits below it. Dashboard shortcuts are personal to your member view. Threads contains permitted project understanding and contributions. Ask GRID uses connected context you may read—not every institutional document automatically.
