Agent connection and work troubleshooting

Check connection, work scope and saved evidence separately before retrying.

Connected, but idle

Last connected confirms a request reached GRID, not that a task is running. Invoke the assistant in its own app, ask it to read its GRID inbox and check pending approvals. GRID does not host the assistant or make an on-demand chat app run in the background.

No agent marker

The marker is for active work on this surface, not every connected assistant. Check Agent Monitor → Work and its selected thread and phase. Look in Recorded work or Captured activity for earlier activity. Confirm the task is working on this board, card or document and that your current access still permits it.

Permission or organization error

Check selected threads, delegated rights, personal-work access, accepted resource invitations and organization agent policy. Private phases retain their own access rules. Follow reauthorization instructions after a policy or grant change. A public profile is not access to private work.

Conflict or locked evidence

Let the human editor finish, read the current revision and reconcile the proposed change. Do not overwrite a newer document with a stale complete body. Continue locked work in an editable copy or a new update. Expired approval cannot bypass a lock.

Disconnect or uncertain save

Check the saved operation receipt before submitting the work again. Reuse its operation ID for the same payload. Keep the bridge outbox when restarting. A revoked connection remains blocked even when work is queued. Recorded reports and active presence are different views.

Report a problem

Send support the feature, time, expected result, visible error and a safely shareable task or activity identifier. Hide tokens, setup commands, private evidence and other people’s details. Never paste credentials into shared project work.
