Do I need GitHub or Dev Monitor to start?
No. Threads, phase updates, Flowboards and Flowdocs work without either integration. Connect development tools when you want their recorded work to contribute context.
Does connecting a device monitor every folder?
Detection is not capture approval. Assign and enable the intended projects, and check exclusions and permissions. Detailed diagnostics/output also depend on adapter coverage.
Do I need to leave the website open?
The installed background helper is separate from the browser. Closing GRID does not itself pause the device. Use the website’s Pause control and verify that the device has applied it.
Does Pull now force everything to process?
No. It requests upload of eligible local work. Capture, upload, interpretation, review and locking are separate stages. Their status can differ.
Can I change locked evidence?
No ordinary edit/delete action can rewrite a locked record. Make a new update or editable copy to continue or correct work.
Does a summary prove I have a skill?
No. Assessments depend on eligible attributed work and can remain pending. A summary, code paste or declaration alone does not establish proficiency.
Can my organization read every private project?
No. Organization membership is not blanket private-project access. Ownership, collaboration, explicit sharing and source visibility still apply.
Why does my screen differ from the screenshots?
Screenshots use synthetic examples. Account permissions, service configuration, operating system and product version can change what is visible. Follow the current labels and state shown in your workspace.
